East German Shepherds originate from the Deutsche Demokratische Republik or "DDR" (1949-1990). The generations of true "DDR" bloodlines are limited to a span of give or take, four decades of breeding in the former East Germany.
The concept, that of a well-structured, perfectly balanced dog capable of performing at the highest known levels are what we strive to attain. |
We look for strong, well balancened dogs with swift movement, hard drives, large bone, wide blocky heads, and super rich pigments.
Our dogs are candidates for Police, SAR, sport, herding, home protection and family companion, although each individual, may be geared toward one, rather then all. |
